KR-12 amide (human)

Description:

KR-12 is 18-29 amino acid residuesof LL-37 and is the smallest peptide of LL-37 retaining antibacterial activity. KR12 displays a selective toxic effect on bacteria but not on human cells. It may be used as a template for developing novel antimicrobial agents of therapeutic use.
