iGEM UPCH’s project aims to create an antifreeze product by using antifreeze proteins and applying the antifreeze externally to affected crops. The team has focused on developing a predictive model for their project, as well as creating science outreach episodes where they have discussed the impact of environmental solutions such as their project and other contemporary scientific subjects.
