Hello! iGEM GO-Paris-Saclay team here! With our project HuGenesS, we will produce nucleotide sequences that contain overlapping genes using the recently developed algorithm CAMEOS. Not only will this genetic entanglement increase the coding potential within reduced size genomes, but, if performed with essential genes, it will constrain the evolution of generated synthetic circuits.
